Union Founder & State President

D Nash Stabolito

The President of a tenants union in California leads meetings, represents the union publicly, coordinates organizing and advocacy efforts, and ensures that decisions and bylaws are followed. They act as a key organizer and spokesperson, helping tenants unite and push for renter rights and housing justice.

Union State Vice President

​The Vice President of a tenants union supports the President, helps lead meetings or campaigns, and steps in when the President is unavailable. They often oversee committees and assist with organizing and coordination.

State Chief Financial Officer

Christoper Hawarthorn

​The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of a tenants union oversees all financial matters to ensure the organization stays stable and transparent. They manage the budget, track income and expenses, and prepare financial reports for the board and members. The CFO works closely with the Treasurer (if separate) to maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with laws and union bylaws, and make informed recommendations about funding and spending. Overall, the CFO safeguards the union’s financial health and accountability.
